actually I did not know if he was going to sell them, and I did think he would read the post in this thread since he made it himself. and he was nice enough to send me a PM anyway :)

is it just me or the lighting or something, the toes look much more shinier than the rest of the shoe. i would prefer if it was the same muted tone throughout though. otherwise, nice work :)

the leather is the same all over, but because they are pulled tight over the toes the oiled leather reflects the light. That said I like the appearance of shiny toe shoes.
