You can obviously afford them and if you think you can pull them off, great.
If you can't you shouldn't have bought them in the first place.
That being said, if you are baller and ballsy enough to buy them only to make them better ( which I think pnod has done ) then more power to you. I don't want to be bossed around by my clothes.Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

I like the nod's boots, and I also like the red boots. I think that, with pants untucked, red boots can provide a nice accent to an otherwise muted outfit. I find the boots much easier to deal with than the julius red rider.

Maybe so but nor was it the designer's intention to have such a feature. Look, I'm all for experimentation but I don't think it should be the rule especially for such great boots as these. I believe the designer's vision should be pure and resonate through such extravagant pieces, that people should embrace such interesting departures and not simply paint black anything that is too hard to wear or doesn't go with their usual outfit.

Certainly, I don't think that it is principally wrong, nor that there is any harsh vandalism here. I do feel however that the boots don't deserve to be treated this way, it just doesn't sit right in my gut to think of more people doing this. For all we know this might be CCP trying to make a bold statement or break some new ground, only to have SZ stomp on the parade.
