gaila, i think youre right, possibly the yy slanted version. what i like best it that they are very fitted around the leg, so in place of a leather legging lets say you can reduce the bulk on top by wearing these. i also like the fact that you can bunch them down similar to the owens type boots from this season.

another slim leg suede boot i quite like is the mmm nail heel version.

I love the look of the nail shoes/boots/booties, but they are wholly impossible to walk in (at least for me)

Most of my Ann shoes are a women's size 10 (40), since even at her store in Antwerp she starts the men's shoes at size 42. Thankfully, her women's and men's shoes are often the same. It gives me a lot more shoe options.

A shame the heel is too thin on that first boot, I like the rest. A girl (or boy) could break an ankle on a heel that thin and high.

rider- designer on those thigh highs? finally a pair without an atrociously high platform and spike heel. And suede too

Apparently from what I've heard around the internets, the mmm nail-heel footwear is surprisingly comfortable.

                so whats your pleasure?

fadetogrey, those are miu miu's. the suede and the thicker heel did it for me too.

faust, i liked them until you said that, not sure why, [it must be the dude factor] but the wrinkled ones with studs (maybe i can relate) are still intriguing ...rogan/frye did a great engineer boot too, with much less going on.

these altuzarra's are a recent find. they are beautiful in the saddle suede and look very soft. i always have had a hankering for suede shoes i guess. i ordered them but i think if they run true i'm screwed since they only had a size up left.

i have some new owens to post soon too.

I like the design of the wedge heel the best.

                      Thanks rider!

ooh, those floppy strapped ann's are nice. No ann shoes for me this spring though. I'm going to be on a much much tighter budget (but by choice)

Love all the Anns. Thanks, rider. The first remind me so much of last year's lace-up boots. I know the buckles as opposed to laces make them different. But I'm just not sure if they'd bring anything 'new' into my wardrobe. Definitely want to try on the floppy pair, though.

Oh - and can't wait to see your new RO, rider.

I have some mmm on the way - thanks to a good tip

there is nothing remotely appealing in this lot.

mona, glad you got the tabi's, but you may have to share them with laika.

hmmm... I'm interested to see more of the first pair, but agree on the others.

oh no! laika - did I buy your size? If so, sorry about that....
There's still a couple of pairs left, if you can manage the 38.5 or 39. I'd post pics, but I don't seem to be able to. Do I need to have a certain number of posts?
