I do. It is not about the color but about the shape and overall look that makes them so tacky. They look like some 10 euro plastic shoes from the early 2000s.
Here is another example how gold can be done right.
dude I know you're trying to get to 100 posts but stop w/ open auctions on ebay, I think anyone can type Rick Owens and see that shit. It's an auction w/ no bargain buy it now? how is it a good buy when you have no idea what the price will end at?
On sites like that, and to my understanding on some regular web stores too, there are always some elite club members that get to pick the cream of the crop 1 or 2 days prior to the sale.. That's why us "normal" folks never get the good stuff and it is immediately "sold out". Still tons of great items left there though... I would kop if I had not found a perfect Haider dress/tank a few days ago.
I never got what's so special about the triple lace boots. Yes, they are rather impressive and very stylised but I think Ann's greatest strength when it comes to footwear (and perhaps her fashion work as a whole) is the shapes and not the detailing, if that makes sense. I'm not saying they suck or anything, but for me these are way better (more versatile, nicer toe shape and imo a bit more timeless) for a similar price.
