    just received my two-tone pilot leather from ss08 and found out the length (esp. back) is significantly shorter than my other rick leather, say intarsia (24.5 v. 27.5). is this right?

        Does anybody else here has a high instep?
        I've recently acquired some Damir Doma pants which I intend to keep (finally a pair of pants that fit me). The hem is very narrow (which I like) but I am experiencing difficulties getting the pants on and especially off due to my high instep. I fear the hem might rip. Any suggestions? I thought about to let the hem out only slightly but I fear it might alter the fit? The pants are made of 57% linen 43% cotton so maybe the linen will give in a little bit? Although it feels quite substantial.

        Unrelated: What to do with the shitload of bags I got with the pants?

            i've also had the same problem specifically with drkshdw waxed denim. i just bought a new pair of ss11 drkshdw jeans and i feel like i am going to rip the bottom of the jeans right up the seam when trying to get them off. this problem, among a few others, has caused me to stop buying so much drkshdw denim.

            side note on the bags, i use antonioli and old drkshdw denim bags if i need a quick shopper bag that i wont mind potentially messing up.

              mofiya

              def. take out the seam some. if you think it looks bad you can always change it back. it better than ripping them.

              btw. r they the parkeb ones? if so, how were they sizing wise? TTS or oversized?

                Yep, I got the Parkebs... I would say the run slightly large but you can go TTS as well I guess. Got a Sz.46 so I can take measurements tomorrow if you want me to (PM me in that case).

                Re: DRKSHDW denim was actually a pain in the ass for me to get out off. It was literally impossible. I had to cut the seam and sent them back to YOOX (but dont tell anyone)

                And kunk - what do you do besides not buying pants like that? I have a MA_Julius twisted pants with stretch and no problems at all...

                    can't make a decision

                    combats from ss11 (calf leather)

                    or

                    zip up boots form crust (treated with a vintage wash)

                    what do you think?

                      he seems to favour the bell shape in many coats. you could always taper it, thats what I did with a linen coat I have from him.

                        yeah I just did a quick google images search and found all these bell-shaped coats. i had picked up another cotton one that made me look like marry poppins so that was a failure...but this linen one has potential, you tapered it yourself or took it to a tailor ?

                          I'm trying to find a complete list of the leather treatment codes Rick Owens uses (LP, LB, COM etc). I'm sure I've seen one posted but I can't find it. Any help?

                          edit:

                          Thats all I can find... does anyone know what "COM" is ?
                          Suede is too Gucci.

                            compiling from your links, i get

                            LB: unwashed calf
                            LM: metallic calf
                            LS: silky lambskin
                            LC: washed lambskin
                            LF: fading lambskin
                            LP: hammered lambskin.
                            LG: washed lambskin

                            and to this you can also add

                            LB: blistered lambskin

                            edit: actually, just noticed the two LB's. i think there's some mistake in the first list since LB is definitely blistered lamb.

                              LB is definitely blistered,

                              LG = Full grain lambskin
                              LK = Kangaroo
                              LO = Oiled calf

                              There's LV aswell, and there was some new ones last season for box calf etc etc.

                              I believe the code for this one http://www.farfetch.com/shopping/men...m10073348.aspx is LOL
