    hmm... well, skywave has got me hooked. really like it. thanks!

    would be nice if someone could recommend me something like Envy, really enjoy their post-rock/slow kinda sound mixed with the vocals. I tried "Heaven in her arms" but having a hard time with the vocals.

      Hey Munch, I just realized, if you want more aggression and energy but still in the similar vein to APTBS, maybe try Kempers Heads by Ulterior? Give the song "15" a try in particular.

                sorry for digging up a semi-old thread but I want some music similar to Sunwrae if anyone heard that. contemporary classic/post-rock'y kinda music. piano and violins. kashiwa daisuke but not noisy/distorted

                  hmmmm, I'm not sure if this is too similar to Sun Ra but recently I've been listening to Emerson, Lake & Palmer - definitely lots of great instrumentation and very musical.

                      Sorry Munch, I was just being stupid and mistaking the band's name for bad spelling. I guess Emerson Lake & Palmer isn't too similar but it's still really good, at least the albums I've heard.

                              munch, if you haven't heard it yet, try The Spectacle - I, Fail. well it's not really Envy, but it sure is fine hardcore with post-rock influences from norway.
