This guy Fre4knc and his Blackout Podcast episode was a seriously pleasant surprise. I just melted over this set and can't get enough:

This is what (at least I remember) I thought it felt like in 1997-2000 in some dark warehouses spinning the dark DnB tracks. There are some real gems in this one.

I used to like him especially Plastikman.

Couple weeks ago i've been at Ben Klock dj set in Prague, and it was....quite nice. Ben was awesome, but the dj playing after him kinda ruined the mood. Also it was cold in the venue because there were no doors or even thick curtains on the entrance.

God, why there are literally no great parties in prague. Like...never ;-(

What do people here think of Richie Hawtin's music?

His early stuff was really good, he is without a doubt a pioneer of Minimal and even Techno. With that being said, I think that his recent stuff was really "formula" based, not as exiting and sounding very much the same, just like his label where it's a very specific sound, although he did bring back in his latest release the 303, 909 etc'.
As a DJ he fantastic, I enjoyed the sets and vibe he managed to create in the club. Surprisingly He really likes Roi Perez a DJ from Israel based in Berlin, who has a pretty eclectic musical style, completely different than Hawtin, which is a very nice breath of fresh air for his nights and shows.
