I like the concept. If the requirements for your portfolio emphasize photography, or even casually suggest to include photography, then I think you'd be better off forming a tetrapych rather than submitting each photo separately since your photos don't exhibit technical mastery, but conceptual awareness. So, diversify your portfolio. Two cents.

Thanks for the advice, thats actually what I plan on doing. This is only a part of my "parsons challenge" where you are supposed to create three pieces based on something overlooked in life. I chose decomposition, things becoming more beautiful as they decay, etc. I also plan to include a set of lino prints illustrating the five stages of decay (fresh, bloat, active, advanced, remains) and perhaps a dress that has been allowed to decay outside.

Haha for sure! I am going to try and experiment with leaf decay rather than the metal corrosion that he used, if I remember correctly.
