thanks. it was in toronto on spadina, just north of queen. the billboards were illegal and astral media removed the entire structures after i this installation. i was quite pleased.

This is awesome, the asian man's outfit makes it even better. Is this in Vancouver somewhere by any chance?

A mix I did today inspired by listening to a lot of tibetan meditational recordings of singing bowls and such. Incorporates mostly dark ambient and glitch.

he hands me a bouquet of white roses, and told me that
these represent our love,
does he not know that roses die when picked
that this product of existence dies a cold death
the instant we begin to admire and furnish our aesthetics
with withering time
and their truest love remains to be the earth and its gifts
this was our love
a dying white rose, withering away once picked
but these weren't de-thorned
my blood covered these soft, innocent petals
And the white roses turn red and I slip into this unknowing
they tell me, to let them die
for they cannot bare the separation
of their one true love
and here we are withering away as the roses do

The thing about that poem...there are many similar poems out there that probably share many words in common with yours. How do you approach a familiar subject and make it your own? I'm not saying one needs to write for the sake of novelty but I think you should either keep developing your work or dig deeper into the psyche. Take the viewer somewhere a bit stranger is all I am saying.
