Oh, and my summer choice is Hoegaarden. So simple, so good.

I must agree with you there on both counts.. I also love a Coopers Sparkling Ale in the winter (or summer)

and a few James Squire Golden ales as well, but they are a somewhat sweet so not to many.

Fuller's ESB



I'm pretty fond of Fuller's ESB. It's reasonably easy to find and thus is my tried & true "workhorse" ale. There's even a few places around here that have it on tap.

I gotta try this. I was tempted the other day, but went with the tried and true Samuel Smith. I think they were the same price.

No, thanks for the tip. American beer USED to be undrinkable until the advance of the microbreweries. Now there are plenty of good American beers (most are not as good as European beers in Europe, but that's because of the raw materials and the FDA).
