Neighborhood Cut & Shave in the West Village is lovely, and they set you up with a glass of whiskey to boot.

is it unreasonable to attempt EMP lunch reservations a week out? is it too late at that point?

Definitely worth a shot, if only for an attempt at getting a table due to cancelled reservations. The chance is slim but it has happened before, call the restaurant and see if you can get added to their active waitlist. You won't find anything online at this point.

Persons of Interest is definitely my go-to. Don't think you can really compare the two as Ludlow Blunt is double the price....

I have a Dior Homme suit in dire need of tailoring - any suggestions?

I figure because it's not a conventional fit that I'll need someone with experience that caters towards the Dior silhouette.

Can any of you gentlemen provide me with some tips on the best way to visit the Statue of Liberty from Manhattan. What's the cheapest and most painless way of doing it. I'm not normally one for tourist attractions, but feel it would be a nice thing to see before I leave, I just don't want end up having to do the whole "package" in the process.

Also is there anything of interest to see or do in Tribeca during the day time, besides restaurants and shopping?

                          Cheers!

You want to go on the island itself or just get a decent view? You can take the Staten Island ferry for free for the latter.

Honestly it's worth the $18 to slug it out and do it like a proper tourist. The Ellis Island Immigration Museum alone is worth the visit if you want a snapshot of some of what people went through (for better and for worse) to build this country.

I'd like to go to the island itself and yes, the museum is a good shout too.
