^i'll be teaching at fit in the spring which is exciting. I'm still at the company for now, albeit as an employee. It's also stemming from my mom being very ill for months now and the uncertainty tied to that. The house we are bidding on has an artist's studio in a converted barn, so perhaps starting to paint again will light the fire.

One thing that really helped me when I went through a time when I felt similar to what you are describing is doing kickboxing.

Martial arts helped me immensely with my overall calmness, fulfillment, and discipline. Volunteering for charity work when you have time is also a big plus

Saw a man on one of those Boris bikes (new hire scheme in London, kinda like the one they have in Paris) today around the Strand, in a suit that was clearly too large for him, with the trousers falling half way down, and those Raf running shoes... Confused the heck out of me.
