kira vs flu:
the flu is winning. stayed out very late thinking i will use sips of bourbon and an occasional glass of OJ to ward it off. got a little tipsy for about a half hour and somehow as i continued to drink i became more sober. instead of waking with a hang over from the numerous cocktails, my throat hurts worse, my ears hurt and wont pop, my eyes are burning and my nose is running like a faucet. am awaiting the chills, i am already doing the too hot, too cold thing.

that's the weirdest thing about drinking when sick. it seems that no matter how much you have at best all it does is level you. sort of like taking pills when you're actually in pain. and then you wake up feeling like shit the next day all for nothing. take lots of vitamins and a nyquil, bundle up, and shake that flu!

that leveling thing is so true. i should have just stayed home because i know better, but my promise to my friend took me out of the house.
