I just read the article today. Was not aware of the existance of said study but found it quite intriguing. I started going through the questions and at first it´s nothing uncommon, pretty standard but soon after they get into a personal territory, some things I bet a lot people have never discussed with their SOs or just another person. It´d be interesting to try.

Well I usually find that if you spend enough of any night out staring into one person's eyes, that the two of you are likely going home together...

But cause and effect are a bit muddled here--one wouldn't meet the other's eyes so often were both parties not already subconsciously interested. While at the same time, easy to underestimate how much closer to someone we feel when that someone meets our eyes/touches us/compliments us.

I meant something entirely different - by and large in contemporary New York relationships are transactional. Forget about feelings, romance, love - it's all about calculating and operating. Expectations are completely unrealistic and narcissism is the order of the day. Being seen has become more erotic than being loved.
