wowzers! I have to ask; how painful was it? the design looks very cool though...

One of my friends recently got a scalp tattoo too and they're very cool... but I'd be constantly afraid of going bald (well I already am afraid of that) and having a magical appearing tattoo becoming visible as my hairline recedes... haha

Well, if you are going to have a tattoo you realy have to think about having it your whole life of course, visible or not, or appearing....yes. For me it was the only possible point, because it ranked first that it is for my self and not for the mass. On the other hand I think of getting bored about it or can´t do my job in future with this tattoo.

I was realy afraid when I ´ve got that appointment and of course I ask the same question to the tattooist and he said very cool:
"if somebody decided to take a tattoo on THIS place, he or she does´nt feel pain!" and that´s truth :)
We did the whole dragon non stop in 3 hours. The only thing which was not that tingly was the tattooist starts with the tail (its on the back of the head) and he ends with the dragon head and then he goes back again to the tail to make the edges sharp. It realy hurts to have the neadle in the open wound.

      greetings LU

kofi3159, I' also say no...but then again I am one who hates both manga as well as branding yourself with an icon of a band/movie/etc, especially anything currently active or trendy. I know a large handful of people who get these culturally/socially relevant tattoos who say things like "I'll still like this band no matter what" etc... 98% of those people hate that thing within a 2 yr window and 50% of that try and cover it up after another couple years... aka... Come up with something that means something special for you that either you or a friend designed! Make yourself an advertisement for you and not for something you read or listened to etc...

Why is Naruto so unpopular on stylezeitgeist..
I especially thought all scandinavians were into the whole manga thing

Jeff Soto is pretty popular... at least in NA. That's a good rendition too. You usually see artist interpreted tats come out as utter shit.. Audrey K stuff for example.

I'm not sure where I'm heading with all my random tattoos. Not really caring either.

^ I've always thought one of the Walker images from FW07 would make a perfect tattoo. Also like the idea of 'holy' ala the tank she did back in '98 and would probably get it done myself if I weren't such a wimp. Maybe one day!

/\ that would be awesome. although, i would hesitate to put such a lofty word on human flesh. you have to be ann to do that in earnest.

I want another tattoo as well, but I think one is the perfect number when it comes to tattoos.
