Perfect soundtrack to sitting up in spite of beeing dead tired, after a lazy day with rain outside.

      Each shade of blue

      Keep blowing and lighting
      Because we own the sky

      Secrets from the winds
      Burnt stars crying

      Soft soft or cruel
      Can't we change our minds?
      We kill what we build
      Because we own the sky

absolutely this. i listen to it quite often. both the album and this song in particular. nice to walk around the city to. am seeing them again in November sometime. One of the best shows I have seen

EDIT: FactMagazine - 20 Best: US hardcore - I'd say they do a pretty good job. (their other 20 Best features are good too.)
i think this is a pretty good list. i disagree with the top choice, i would have moved out of step up a few notches, but i do like the unexpected inclusion of bikini kill and heroin, both of which are essential is their sub-genres. i wonder if one of the youth crew bands belongs on this list.

I'm stoked on the discussion that's come out of this. I haven't been buying (or downloading) too many albums in recent years (and I've lost just about all of the ones I did have...) and I need to get up to speed... Factmag also did a sick top 20 Japrock feature that looks really promising, too.

Like I said, got a lot of catching up/recovering to do, so if anyone has suggestions of what I should pick up - pm!

really great to see leonard fans here
fantastic that the man is finally touring again!
this is easily one of my top 3 or 5 "desert island" records.

He better come to the US. I understand that your last manager fucked you over, so hire a new one and hire a good lawyer. Millions of people and dollars are waiting for you...

Search the New York Times - there was a good article on them a month ago or so.
