this record is new to me, but this is the most searing live record i have heard. nothing comes close. i snagged this double LP for $5 in a classic rock record store, italian pressing from 1981. you can hear wire's contempt for the audience, and the contempt is returned, via thrown bottles (you can hear glass breaking on the record).

kinda backwards, but it brings to mind Heroin records (gravity), what with snatches of songs here, fragments there. really good stuff.

Atlas Sound holds its own as well (as i recently learned) for all the deerhunter fans. I also learned that dude has Marfans - you can tell when you see him. Its actually kinda nuts how many outstanding people have Marfans...its also nuts how many runway models have Marfans....the DH boys definitely had its share of Marfans...
