Armageddon in Retrospect (audio book) - Kurt Vonnegut
“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

Likely those interested already know, but I figured some SZ folk might be interested to know that there's been a repress of the first Grouper release on vinyl and at least Boomkat has it up for sale...
Must admit my current heavy rotation has been perhaps un-SZ-esque. Near full immersion in the 9 disc Stax-Volt singles collection at work. Over and over again over the past week and a half. It's becoming increasingly hypnotic over time and I think I'm going to pull similar moves with some other multidisc comps. I'm a bit tired of my usual "keep everything in light-to-moderate rotation" listening habits and want to really soak in some different tuunez until my pores vibrate with 'em. See what'll happen after a week of Arkology...
I didn't take you for a Yeahs fan Faust. I've been obsessed with "It's Blitz" since it came out. I'm particularly fond of the 4 acoustic versions that come with the iTunes download, I didn't know Karen O's voice could be so pretty.
