What are you listening to?

These guys are really growing on me... Great, great band. At first you think - wtf, everything sounds kinda the same and the voice is not really giving anymore depth. But you really gotta listen the albums completely, one track after another. Somehow, The National manage to create a really unique mood in me. Somwhere between dreamy, melancholical, happy and sad at the same time... And it's not like that effect is decreasing the more I listen to it...

Completely agree MoFiya, I hated The National at first, now I can't get enough of them, their sound is amazing- currently rocking the hell out of High Violet

I just don't understand all the hype around these guys. The song with the numbers is probably one of the worst song ever written. Plus, i can't stand the way they're dressed during their performances, like fucking zodiac knights or something.

Anyhow, I discovered June of 44 and Shipping news (also The halo benders ) recently, it's like if Fugazi and Shellac had a child together, it's just brilliant.
