Critical Analysis of Corny pop crap? Suggestions....

Thought the SZ would be a good place to ask this one. Does anyone know of someplaces where I can get some really critical analysis of Pop songs like Rihanna or Katy Perry? I dont want any wide eyed fandom hyperbole - im looking for contemporary, zizek style critiques.

Suggestions welcome!

god, i hope not. you can probably find a lot of stuff covering the lady gaga videos as everyone, including publications like the atlantic, jumped on the bandwagon for those.

i can still vividly remember the time i was able to see these guys live. it was quite mesmerizing how much stage presence he had with nothing more than a violin. it was enough to put even tim harringotn with les savy fav to shame. didn't the drummer also play for nick cave or something like that?

Google scholar looks great! Thanks for pointing that out for me. Haven't found anything specific enough to use but will keep looking.... and ideas form through looking anyhow. Cheers guys.
