Never gotten into Wolfe, and just saw her for the first time—$20, it was more than worth the gamble—and that struck me as well, so it's funny to see this posted here. I don't love NIN too much (sorry Faust!) and that's all I've ever heard in her music, so it was nice to be able to get at her from the PJ side of things. She's also sent me spinning off into a huge Crime spree, another band with an atmosphere she totally evoked. Solveig Dommartin would have been totally at home rocking out in that crowd, too.

Funnily enough, this song may be my favorite I've heard from the GTA scores (rivaling GTA III's opening theme). I would never guess GTA if someone showed this to me blind - it would fit neatly within a Final Fantasy game or any JRPG.

Girl Band's Holding Hands With Jamie is so...fucking...good. One of those albums that amazingly sounds just how I feel.

                    Can someone suggest:

                    1. A band similar to the Cocteau Twins
                    2. A band similar to Dead Can Dance

I need new music but I haven't found anything good for a while now.

The band has to be similar to both? For the first one, I would check out maybe Tropic of Cancer, Helen (and related Grouper if you haven't already). More ambient and not so much songwriting, but still have some kind of Dead Can Dance feel to it: Deaf Center - Owl Splinters.

So good, listened to this at full volume the other day while riding at 160 mph on the German Autobahn.

Really liking the Behaving album. Keaton Henson is continuously surprising...

Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.
