Re-reading American Psycho in preparation for The Informers and to balance it,
I'm reading Lunar Park right now...the opening meta-autobiographical section was really quite good, but halfway into the main plot I find that his writing has lost its edge compared to when his youth coincided with the times...in particular a lot of the dialogue sounds horribly out of touch. Might go check out The Informers and Glamorama after this. Actually Rules of Attraction is the only full length BEE I've read start to finish.

Just finished reading The Road, looking for something similar.
I did not like that book at all. Was bored 95% of the way through it and could not wait for the end. How did you find it? Good I guess if you want something similar.

I did find it a bit boring for majority and it did end quite abruptly, but I did enjoy the dystopian world that they lived in. I`d like a more eventful book that portrays that lifestyle (hopefully including road warriors that I could imagine wearing rick)
