^ why do you find that odd? Because you feel the work is very similar? I don't think so... I think the whole movie Blow Up was one big picture set - according to the main protagonist as a photographer. And then, the plot which had that nice twisting the whole time through - always keeps you hanging on. Plus, the great ending (tennis match, but I dont wanna spoil the thread).
On contrary, The Passenger didnt really catch me. I found the plot kind of thrilling, but the movie as a whole didn't catch me... I mean, it was a good movie - no question - but not an excellent one as Blow Up (to me, but we're all talking from a personal point of view, arent we).
On a side note: I am experiencing difficulties trying to formulate my impressions on movies in a foreign language. After all, I just try to do my best to articulate my subjective perception, which I even find hard in German

Let's just say I'v seen better, shorter anti-drug propaganda.

Saw Chan-wook Park's "Thirst" yesterday. Some scenes / shots were great, but the movie as a whole was not too spectacular IMO. Made me think of good vampire movies I've seen. All I can think of is Nosferatu. Any other tips? If there's no must-see I'ld pass on this "genre", the vampire thing is often kind of odd to me :\

I pretty much liked Thirst, but I had the feeling that there was more potential.
And here are some other vamp movies I personally enjoyed
- Shadow of the Vampire
- The Fearless Vampire Killers (obviously a comedy, but definitely one of the best and it got a lot of vampires in it)
- The Hunger (I know, the movie isn't really popular with the critics, but Deneuve and David Bowie in one movie...)
- Let the Right One In
- Daughters of Darkness
- Near Dark

This is a silent film. It's also balet. Dracula is Asian. If these things don't put you off, then check this out. It's gorgeous.
Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter
This is exactly what it sounds like: Awesome. But also crap.
