Caught a screening of BLUE ROMANCE , While the movie is pretty good I think it was a little too long and not a big fan of that documentary closeup style shooting either.Ryan Gosling is quite an actor.
Also watched Inarritu's BIUTIFUL seems like he has got his groove back its more on par with the gritty honesty of Amores Peros .... but then 21 grams was pretty good too
anyways watch it ...

Saw "Still Walking" by Hirokazu Kore-eda yesterday... I am ambivalent about it. While one was somehow emotionally connected with the family and felt guilty in a way, some parts of the movie were just overly pathetic and I would have preferred some things not to be spoken out loudly / shown explicit (like "oh - and if you didn't get it yet here is what I am trying to tell you").
Need new inspirations on what to watch next. Klang mind chiming in and sharing some of your latest hits?

Saw a Danish film yesterday, In Another World (I think the title is simply "Heaven" in Danish - I don't understand the need to fuck titles up with stupid translations). I quite liked it. I like films that grapple with questions that don't have a set right answer.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

As mentioned before in this thread, I already saw beauvois, following your recommendation and I found it ace, as well...
Looking forward to seeing 'the rest'.
