Did get an email about my custom order today.. they where going to be shipped out yesterday or so, but in the last minute Carol's staff noticed that something was wrong with the shoes! So they're taken back to the lab for some examination, and I'll here next week if they can do another pair.

I'm sad about that I have to wait even more for them to come (if they actually can make ém), but I'm glad that they don't ship out shoes with faults.

black derbys (08) never found my size elsewhere. small feet.

but lately I'm starting to get fond of the rubberbands, but sametime feel that the derbys is a safer shoe. Not that it's always that fun to play it safe.

How is the button attached? Is it a working buttonhole or does it just give the appearance of one..?

sorry late pass (i'm rereading most of this thread) and i'm going to post known information. The buttons actually has another 4 holes underneath the visible ones, the top four holes are kinda faux, not really leading anywhere, but the button is actually quite deep, like a cone.. therefore allowing for space for the other button holes. The button is attached underneath in these second button holes..
