same problem, which i knew would happen. i wear it usually when i know that i'll be walking/standing for most of the day. or just sit back and relax :-) but it functions as a belt quite fine. a perfect piece to break up an otherwise plain outfit.

after seeing the pics, they definitely do look different from their past iterations and to be honest I would rather find a new pair of '08 sidezips.
I liked how the previous ones had different shades/texture on the cordovan....while the leather on the newer ones looks much smoother/clean cut.

though my aversion to them isnt great enough to stop me from getting the new ones...considering older sidezips in new condition are kind of hard to come by. (in my size especially)
This has been my only problem with my new bootz, I do sort of wish I had the grey ones from last season, but I missed out. All that said, I do love these and am very happy with them: (click for larger)

these pics for some reason make the curve on the toe much more apparent. I was aware of the added bend, but didnt really notice it until I saw these.

How does it look when you wear them? Do your feet straighten them out a bit?

A little bit, but not really yet... I'm sure with more wear it'll flatten out a bit, but right now the leather is maintaining itself...Which honestly scares me, these are the only CCP footwear I've handled and from others reports this is a "soft" leather used.

If things go on the way they've been going I'll be priced out of the voting booth.
