yea this is what they were referring to. if you don't have the tools yourself, you could try asking if a cobbler could do it. I've reattached one of these pieces with pliers, but it already had the small "spikes" (from the two punctures) that the clamp presumably makes.

So does anybody have the definitive answer on whether the 2011 dead-end jeans (JM2625) were actually produced in colour 10?
Everybody seems to have the same as mine KIT-RTC11, yet the showroom pics do show the black version.

          From CCP, specifically on JM/2625, KIT-RTC :

"the jeans style...is a garment dyed jeans; the possible colours are three; the darkest one is colour 11 (dark grey); the colour black is not foreseen."

Hey Eton, I am also not so positive that there is a black version, I am afraid. ...but why this should stop you, you can always experiment with your washing machine : )

Must be just how lighting effects how the jeans look then, magic's pic in recent purchases looks virtually black.

the dark grey is sort of like off-black, though

Lowery is right, its sort of faded black.

LIFT JP stocks the all colors for the dead-ends.

strange indeed, since the 'black' spiral jeans from ink and darklands are both color 11... i've seen them irl on a guy at the stealth party, and they looked definitely darker than the dead end jeans in color 11. does anyone own both to confirm?

....well from what i can tell they came in black and white, as well as grey (11)

if you're telling me these are grey 11, then the lighting from the shoot must be very off...

those are showroom pics. the final product clearly didn't take to the dye as intensly as the sample. and i think the spirals are darker even though the fabric and color are essentially the same.
