miserableman, you're mixing different things.
- On the high neck long coat, which is a complete different shape from the blazers/overcoats, sleeves were notably short (and shorter in 2009 than in the 2010, where they have again the regular long lenght).
- I could proove you that, in a same collection, different type of blazers (in the same size of course), worn by the same model, have different lenght of sleeves, but secret material has to be kept secret.
So, I'll choose another way.

This coat is from FW 2008 :

On this one, the shoulder widht/sleeve lenght is 0,64.

On this one, from FW 2007, the ratio is 0,60.

You know, with the help of a tailor the sleeves can be any fucking length you want them to be.

The only tailor I know of that can make sleeves any fucking length uses a wand instead of a Needle. Abracadabra Alterations Inc, based in La La Land, ask for Paul Daniels.

I buy a second coat in the largest size and cannibalize the sleeves from it. Sometimes I forget about the plight of the 99%.

Patroklus : Even to shorten the sleeves is not that easy (or requires a good tailor), since it has to be made from the shoulder, and not at the wrist, for obvious reasons.

...which is impossible considering the high neck is a back raglan, so the shoulder at the back goes all the way to the neck....

much easier to custom order and ask for the extra sleeve length - i added 2cm to mine and it came out perfect - there is no other way to shorten or lengthen the sleeve (without noticeable alteration marks) no matter how good a tailor you find....the button hole is the main reason
