I ran a search and was surprised that nothing came up for Chadd Curry, the infamous NY Rick Owens SA?? Could someone direct me to it if there is past discussion -- this guy is completely dreamy. i would assume there is. if not, enough with skateboarders and Aniston this guy needs some legitimate press ( I'm looking at you, Scout.)

Was just at the nyc store couple of days ago, prices have gone beyond insane. It's just ridiculous at this point.

I am guessing over-priced unsold dick oven threadz end up at an undisclosed outlet store in downtown empire state area.. I find it funny that most designers are lowering prices and rick seems to be raising them.. maybe he will sell the best pieces and the most common sizes at a premium and still take home the same amount of money in a crap economy at the end of the day.. hard to tell if this strategy is arrogance or genius.. but, i like it.. moreover, it maintains his iconoclastic mindset , , ,, . . .

I think Rick is not the only one to increase prices.

The luxury brands' core clientele still have significant disposable income. If they are not buying, it has more to do with their mindsets than their bank accounts.

Tangerine is right. Those that buy luxury, will continue to pay whatever it costs. An extra grand for a dick leather is not going to break their bank.
