Here's your waterproof version of the Nylon jacket, Faust.

The waterproof version doesn't hang right. I kinda liked the nylon one for the "flowy, drapeyness", but the material on this version looks way stiff, awkward and heavy.

The latest scuba jacket does look nice though.

haven't seen that version before, but have to say it looks really bad compared to the nylon which drapes very nicely.

The waterproof version isn't mainline, it's from DRKSHDW. You can see more pics of it on Rick's site. Looks OK considering it's not using a luxe mainline material.

Looks like it's made from that same waxy canvas material he uses on some jeans/denim jackets.

those snap buttons are kinda ugly but at least they're better than the velcro pockets, doesn't that shit scratch when you put your hands in the pockets?

Somehow I don't like the colour on that jacket. I don't know about the velcro pockets scratching... with my S/S leather I practically never use the pockets.. the velcro is really hard to rip open. Don't think it should be too big a problem if you want to use the pockets a lot though. The velcro is also a lot more practical than the zips used before because those are always also in danger to rip on the seams whilest the leather is in stretching-process..

Does someone know more about the length of the different leather jackets? Are they all the same? And does someone know what the difference in leather is between this jacket and this one??
