I saw the S.S09 at RO.NYC but the smallest the had was a 43 and Antino said that you need to size down atleast a whole size. So I'm thinking I need a 41/40.

I got a couple Q's about S/S 2009 Rick jeans . . .

Are all of them coated/waxed/whatever it is?
Are there differences between the coatings? I've seen some listed as "waxed" and some listed as "polyurethane coating"
Are those the same thing?

Do the Detroit cut fit true to 'normal' sizing, eg: is a tagged 34 actually around 36-37" in the waist?

Do they stretch out at all?
(it seems there's at least some stretch in them since it seems like some of them are stretchy material)

and sizes are vary by model.
so i think you had better try on in the shop first .
