i don't mind them, im always biased towards ma. but i would prefer it without the centre seam if that was possible uncertain if that shape coauld be done or made using a non leather? i like the fact he is using that fabric it looks similar or the same as i have seen being used on aviators before.
the archives current version of this boot with straps is really really perfect i prefer it to this but i think the idea of a slip on is nice just this is not executed to the best of what it could be.

maltieris name graces the best bits from the early days anyway
the original coat patterns , the oft vaunted leather shirts are in no way down to amadei
and his (amadei) later free expression of the leather daddy look , the leather coats and assorted longer leather coats are questionable keepers
but give him credit , he occasionally hits the red dot.
of late his nepotistic modelling choices just do him no favors

without the center seam (or perhaps no seam on the front) and the slit sides those boots would be imo quite nice. Or maybe if the leather was was just poking out of the top.. That would be nice

ha pip do you know this for a fact ? i do think if his bits were photographed properly if amadei had some input into this it could change many peoples opinions on his stuff. Im sure he would want a certain way for his work to be photographed, focusing on the areas of the garment which set his work apart from others. The shop blog photos don't do his stuff justice when you own his stuff there are textures and details that are just hard to capture in a quick snap.

But then again maybe he doesnt photograph or use a specific model because he wants people to actually make up their mind on the garments in person.

On another note 70/30 ratio is off.

My observations are based on careful mathematical calculations from years of stock physically examined at Atelier (and they have a chockful) - what are your basis?
