Yeah, the ones I got from the Archive also have the white at the seams when pulled.

As bestial alluded to, I assume that the white will show more and more as the pants are worn and stretched a bit.

Just to clear any confusion. All j pants in shades of grey to black are over dyed...same dye process applied to different fabrics.

Avyer: very narrow calf area, but totally wearable

D, what is the difference between the type SL/Atelier got compared to the "regular" black ones, just a different type of dye/finish? or were there more stores that got the showroom version?

according to cento cose, their black j-pants are not overdyed. (link)

also, the overdyed grey military tent cotton version is dooope

/\ those certainly aren't overdyed. Thanks Maldoror! :)

Edit: ML, the color and dye on the vintage fabric.

You are right to be cautious though, the wire can unravel after the tag has been disassembled and if that happens it's impossible to fix. So even though it's an extremely simple task, I find the more methodical you go about it the better.

I love to detach those damn things, it's so inconvenient and fun, like fashion Lego-technic.

And yeah, I just use a screw, then they go down to the guilty pleasures box.

A compromise. Use an impact driver.
