Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. As for the name change, few will refer to it using the new name. It's difficult to pronounce for many, and the name "Augusta" has already made its way to the market. How many people use the word "Kleenex" for all tissues, the phrase "Q-tip" for all cotton swabs, and "iPod" to refer to all .mp3 players? It's not exactly the same situation, but the point is, it's difficult to dissociate name-meaning relationships for an entire group of people. The important thing is that the shoes themselves will not change.

I honestly prefer Augusta footwear much more than xxx's...and frankly im a bit over that pointy toebox... i love all the round shaped shoes Simone is doing now..

well, after 5 or 6 wears, my augusta sneaker laces are starting to break. maybe because the sharp rusty metal eyelets cut like saws..

i might have to find a stronger replacement, but laces brand new generally look like ass. any suggestions for third-party laces?

Green laces, bury them until next winter maybe. I have the same problem. When mine broke I got the feeling they where all dried out, like on a really old shoe that's been worn out in the mud on a kid for x summers.
