The back zip sneaker has the same effect. I've seen these at H. Lorenzo. Ink has them as well.

Looks like thin layers of cotton candy I like...

I'm feeling the boot / high-top hybrid. Probably my favorite sneaker that he's put out. I like the original laceups but something about the profile of them is a bit too awkward.

Minus the straps up top, I'm really feelin these sneakers. Never handled augusta sneakers in person, and there's little to no chance I'd ever spend that much on sneakers, but for what it's worth, they look pretty cool.

I have mixed feelings about the straps. It's likely that these are my favorite because they're so similar to boots. I pretty much hate anything velcro though.

cowsareforeating your absolutely right....i feel the same way about it. The straps with velcro just dont fit in with the whole a1923 concept.
