this guy needs a few mor years under his belt. seems like hes pulling alot of ideas from ro,but who isnt. seems like a hybrid of ro/julius little less polished, not that impressed.

So give him those few more years.

Rick is obviously an influence, can't deny that. But then again, isn't every designer influenced by someone or something? fashion design, as with other types design, is incremental IMO. Expecting a revolution, incomparable to anything we know, is impossible I think.

Influences are perfectly fine and, over time, help you understand how you see things. Blatant copying is another thing though.

But based on what I've seen, OV does have his own ideas and seems able to incorporate them in his items. It's not simply Rick with a different tag.

I like what he does and hope he continues to develop his own thing over time.

looks like a few more leathers, the distressed coat which looks really cool, and the long coat with the usual basics and a new print tee.
