^When is it hitting shelves? I just might have to buy it. People here talk about Altieri and CCP, but IMO Hussein Chalayan is the best designer ever. His dedication to innovation is amazing.

Probably the most innovative high end designer in the last 20 years yes, but while his womens is spectacular his menswear is hit and miss,
Also remember this is a predominantly menswear forum with a specific viewpoint on fashion...............

Great to see so much Huessein Chalayan activity on here!

Wore on of his shirts today. It's so simple but interests me for a couple reasons. First off, it's one of my off-image pieces meaning it doesn't fit my typical dark image.

This shirt is a very light white/blue denim shirt and has a drawstring through the collar. Simple, but it's PERFECTLY fitted and also has a tinge of yellow/wear designed into the coloring that makes it seem 70s in appeal. Anyhow, I somehow fall in love with this piece every time I wear it, despite the style clash with the rest of my wardrobe.

What I love about it is that while I'd normally frown on the material/piece, I love it because it's constructed so perfectly. Love designers that convince you to wear something you normally wouldn't.

I bought this skirt a few weeks ago, and only got an idea of the print once it arrived. I have tried to find out which season it is from (gone through stylebistro.com/style.com etc), but have not had any luck - does anyone here recognise it? I would love to see more from this season, this print is cute.

To answer safeword's question, the Grey Line is what's replaced the H Chalayan line. The Black Line is the main line.
