                  Galliano is a fan...

WWD: Is that hat Mongolian lamb?

J.G.: Ah! This is my favorite milliner extraordinaire, Stephen Jones. This [pulling at his jacket sleeve] is a great kid, but no one knows about him. He’s an English boy called Paul Harnden. You’ll find his stuff in L’Eclaireur. I’ve told my French friends and they’ve gone in there to try and find out about him, but he’s very Greta Garbo. He does that rough kind of tweed and stuff. I buy all my stuff from him.

                  WWD: Have you met him?

J.G.: I can’t get ahold of him. I believe he lives in England by the sea. Paul, we love you! If you get to read this piece.

haha funny, C and i were there when he bought a huge pile of Harnden pieces, most of them from women's collection (he's short and super skinny)

he was trying the jackets while wearing a double layered bottom composed of lycra pink leggings under pink Adidas tracksuit pants... wonder whether it fits the designers' wish

Ive heard some really weird stories about him..........LOL

Someone with intimate knowledge once told me that a huge fan/ client went to his Studio, expecting to be politely greeted, Paul came up to the door, opened it and left the visitor standing without saying a word...........visitor standing there, he appeared through another door, looking in the opposite direction, he asked in a swift voice "what do you need"..............then went back to work without listening for a reply.............the man was left there with Paul and his assistants working as if he wasn't in the room..........
After a few minutes the visitor left, feeling awkward, puzzled and surreal....................

I wouldn't like it if some strangers were knocking on my home's door, fans or otherwise.
