Basically, this collection has much more of a hard/urban warrior meets architectural/aggressive feel. The use of chinese silk jacket patterns is definitely pretty (as are some of the short skirts and tailoring), but the chinese soldier jacket/armor details also add to this ''hardness". It's noticeably more ''bad-ass''. Gone are the uptown ladies going downtown for lunch without slumming it style-wise. Some of these girls look more like downtown girls invading uptown with Ginsu knives.

So, my comment is merely meant to say that they are aware of Owens/Ghesquiere/Margiela/Maria Cornejo etc....! and playing with some of the creative space that these designers have created in womenswear... I can't act like I don't see that. If it makes you feel better, I'd say it's more a comment on the womenswear arena, than anything resembling condemnation.

I'm also not saying I don't like this collection-It's probably the best thing i've seen from them. I like it actually.
But I almost don't wanna admit it after you jumped down my throat, throwing my words back in my face in your eagerness to defend their honor.

So please back slowly out of my throat area and don't kick my teeth on the way out.
