+1, I'm curious about the nature of this garment.

It's a double-layered L/S, with contrasting layers.

I didn't like the zip hoody this season, I remember trying on one from fw08 and it was a perfect fit, but when trying on this one the zipper bulged really badly, seems like its the same for Chant so it wasn't just me. too bad, otherwise I would definately get the hoody now as I didn't buy it when I had the chance.

It's done on purpose.

Oh and these shoes/boots that are hanging from the rail look really weird and interesting. It would be nice to have some detail shots of those at some point. I bet the material is amazing as well.

Are you kidding ? You never went into in a traditional cobbler shop ? These forms, and its integrated screw system, are made to enlarge shoes which are to small.

Chant thanks for the pics and the rundown. Fabrics are beautiful,as can be expected. The range on offer looks huge! And have heard all little manufacturing issues have been irradicated!
As for the bulging zip,i have the same issue with my hoodie from ss09, the only way to over come it is by opening the double zip on both ends .

Fabrics look great, particularly the genghis khan coat, I hope it goes into production. 'Strange' oversized trousers are really interesting and I'm surprised your wife doesn't like the asymmetrical lapel-less jacket, it's killer.

once I'm done with the Yohji, (once he leaves the house) DD seems to be the only choice...

I agree with Merz on that point, by the way : I feel like you can't help but follow the designer's purpose wearing the most impressive among those pieces - left with nothing else to do. Frustrating.

This looks quite substantial for a summer piece. Christian was this coat quite heavy? I love the colour

Yes, it's the heaviest piece, in terms of weight, but I don't know if it'll be as warm as a winter coat.
