I disagree. I think Damir Doma is German through and through. Focus on material and quality over **new for new sake**. Greys, blacks...
Also superficianlly i might look boring, but really, the shapes are unique and new. Its just not flashy, again a German trait. He is capturing this unique style and then bringing it new places.
Also the clothes are very wearable, walking around Berlin you would not look crazy in this, not so sure about London or New York.

Boring? I could never look at Damir as boring... his focus on silhouette experimentation through a philosophical perspective (i.e.= the relationship between clothes and the soul, and how they could outwardly communicate) is romantic in a cerebral sense, but I lack the emotional connection that so many seem stimulated by. His approach feels overthought, and his shapes, seeming omniscient in their hyper-present radiance, fail to show me a wearability that could transcend seasons, years, and taste.
My void for Damir doesn't discredit you, or anyone for that matter. The forumula works, but works as a whole, and I struggle with finding a space in my wardrobe for Damir without going whole hog and buying a 'look'. Perhaps the volume is turned up too high ;)

I think though that an abstraction of some elements of damir doma will be the next big thing in Berlin. Drop crotch pants, with long t-shirts etc.
The swedish tight stone washed jeans with a blazer sleaves rolled up is getting played.

I wouldn't exactly think of Damir's clothes as the ones I'd wear for an intense day and night out clubbing somewhere, I also haven't seen anyone dressing remotely similar to his or other SZ-discussed designers whenever I went out there myself...interesting.

Yeah, probably take Cos or H&M to start doing this style for it to take off big time, but its not a huge leap. Damir Doma grew up in Germany and it shows in his clothes. Its not Jimmy Choo and a party dress city for sure :)

I think Berlin fashion is overrated...its quite toned down with the exception of some crazy guys in Kreuzberg who throw layers of selfknitted sweaters and hats over themself and think they look cool...havent seen many people whome i would say are really good dressed in my subjective SZ influenced way...

But would be very subtly different to what is currently worn by alot of people. I think this is interesting, not standing out, but still being different/individual, again very german.
