the ideas are there...they're good but poorly executed, just very messy..too goth. she tries to do the avant garde thing, but when you do that, you have to make sure it's tailored properly so that it looks like it was done intentionally. nothing looks finished. i guess some people like it...clueless people.

Taken apart, this collections is turning out to have some nice
pieces. I really like that shirt above (similar pattern to that
crazy buberry F/W 07 suit tho). I want one of the half scissor
necklaces, did you see that at A faust?

didn't see the necklaces. they have the shirt though. i like the double collar shirt, A has it too - although I like it for the double cuff (you can flip one up, and leave one down), I could do without the double collar, actually. why not make the necklace yourself?

Exactly! and in person, there are quite beautiful pieces, at least of what i have seen at Browns. I picked up the backless suede shoes and they are beautiful I tell you. Just sad I live in London, cold and rainy right now!

I'm glad you like it, BECOMING-INTENSE. I still think the collection is awful in terms of prices and quality :-(. I like the double-collar/double-cuff black shirt though (it's on the Browns website).

I'll persist on staying positive, just strip away the "in your face" dada reference, and there is beauty to be found, but yes an expensive one. You know Faust, it's always sad to see someone like you, who has had a love-affair with Ann's design for a long time, loosing faith, but who knows maybe f/w 08/09 collection here the 19th will change that ...

I did have time to look at the pieces at Browns, while the SA was down getting the right size shoe for me, and that black double cuff shirt is very nice, the shadow striped trousers, the shirt with striped collar and wide placket and jacquard coat I really like to.
