I love the idea of those boots. The concept of something that forces a specific gait on the wearer is a lot of fun. That being said, you better have a pretty complete wardrobe to even think about blowing significant money on a curiousity like that, because a boot designed to make you walk like an elephant isn't going to see a lot of wear.

Thanks for the link Faust! I'm usually a 43 in normal shoes, so I thought I'd be a 42 in sandals, but I'll keep my eye on that auction! The seller seems to be unloading a lot of quality stuff worth taking a look at as well!

whats lost on the photo is the surprisingly comfortable cotton due to the ob dy process.

i also have the pants so i could make a combo. price, almost 3k, makes it very very hard to pull trigger. but i don't have any formal long coats in the old closet.
