I'm trying to decide between these two leathers. I tried on the rick and it was nice!

1) Julius


2) Rick

i'd go for the rick if you can get a non shiny version of it, otherwise, the julius.

^ What's the Rick made off? Unless it's made of that super fragile silky leather he used for some intarsias and gradients then go for it IMO :-X
Although everyone is going to say go for the julius I personally prefer the cleaner Rick leather.

The rick leather is made out of lambskin, it's not that shiny in person. I have a few julius leathers but people tell me to give rick a try lol.

It's not about wether it's shiny or not but on the experienced durableness... I don't know how durable how current iterations are (e.g. the construction and thickness of the leather)... Past stuff I handled felt like it'ld rip in a second (and several resellers had to declare holes).

I was considering the same 2 jackets myself, I'm thinking- get the Rick now and pre-order the Julius when possible and go from there

You saved me. I realized the Julius is a S/S piece but, I didn't know it was really thin.

the fit in the pic looks good. do u mean the mollino specifically or all rick leather has a sucky fit? what size r u?
