i would want the heel of the 9XX series, but my ideal height would be that like those cdiem5holes. but theres no in between of the 994/995. so im torn between two.

i cant quite tell, but is the shaft of the 995 higher than the 795? it seems so.

Personally I find the heel too tall on the 795 for my personal taste. But I do like the double sole quite abit, and since my 988 is a single, the double is a welcomed change.
So between the 795 and 995, I'm leaning towards the former and will possibly shave a little off the height of the heels.

i suppose if they're the same, den one could just get the 995 and add a vibram sole to get the 'double sole' effect. instead of having to shave off the heel of a 795.

my hestitation in getting a 995 is that im afraid it may end up looking too 'combat-like' due to the taller shaft.

I wouldn't go that route

Having the original double sole and adding a (thick?) vibram sole to a single is very different imo.
I'd much prefer shortening the heels, and I know places that can do this perfectly.

jgan, apologies, but i'm not really enjoying the fit or proportions, esp shoulders/sleeves/length.

hwith, i'd prefer a plain tank, but i guess it depends what you'll be wearing it with.

jgan : Strangely the first pic with the jacket being open appeals to me. Closed the proportions look off, and the hood looks to me as though it doesnt belong on that garment

Hwith : I would say no. I find graphic tees to be appealing one minute, and then I cant stand them ( and i dont really liek that one myself). I always prefer the detail to be in the fabric/knit or the contruction/seam work, as opposed to a graphic.

Unless the graphic is more subtle and not so glaringly obvious
