thanks for the reply jogu, I've had a busy weekend so didnt get a chance to see your post. My mind has changed also and I'm leaning towards no for the coat.

Also, I prefer the bottom pair of boots as they are more traditional and therefore easier to incorporate into outfits.

i'd take the augusta low boots, without thinking that much.
the high version isnt the best one from augusta, and by far, whereas the low boots are very tempting !

        THX!!

Is this the same pair as the one AKA*NYC just sold few months back?

        OR
the first pair are seamless and its toes are more pointed also they are reserved leather, you can easily put your jeans into them. The second were wider and ankle parts are very tight, however, you can still wear skinny jeans in them.
        Just get both of them.

Someone own the particular IS coat and can tell how warm it is? I have warmer coats, just want to know.
It is not very thick at all.

Perfect for Autumn. Personally I prefer the IS coat.

Eternal, i'd pick the is coat for sure. I'm not personally confortable with these sleeveless coats and i find the design on the is (like some devoas from past season) really great

hurricane08 : thanks a lot. Looks like i'm going to keep it then !

I've always found this particular cut from IS to be a bit too hobo-ish. not that it'd be very extravagant - the Julius piece actually seems a bit more "out there", but somehow its a bit more refined. I think IS has much better coats.

Eternal, I'm sure you know where to wear these coats. Somehow the only light coat I have stays in my closet forever. I don't see the sense of a sleeveless coat and I don't really like the look of the IS coat. If you're looking for a light coat, this Ann coat is as good as it gets

Tried it at Antwerp and it's gorgeous, very light, can be worn with or without the belt, and can be buttoned up in differnt ways for a drapey look.

I liked the IS coat when I tried it on however the shorter sleeves on the outer layer put me off, gives it too much of a feminine vibe imo. Julius is making a version of that coat with sleeves, part of the mid-winter collection:

I find cream gets a bad rap, I personally love neutral tones, they go with everything. Its a color which adds a nice warmth to greys and blacks without looking stark IMO

                              I say snag it
