The overall verdict of the inquisition seems to be a no...
Bit I still like it. The fabric is thick, stiff and soft at the same time. Feels good on the skin. Fit is tight and I love the look. Would have copped if I wouldn't care about money...that's just my two cents;)

This is an amazing jacket -- I'm trying to understand the "no" reaction to it...Go with your instincts addict. You have fabulous style.

my gripe with the m.a+ jacket is the really stiff fabric, it rolls and sticks out pretty uncontrollably so the only way I felt it looked good was closed. its not exactly the most comfortable jacket. plus, I could barely get the size 50 on, so it fits super small.

I imagine that a coat like this will not fit well on everyone. I am about 6'1 145 lbs. I think I would need a M or 48.

here's some fits..

i'm 6'3" with shoes, 185 (fatty) wearing this coat in M.
shoulders measure 17" which is the minimum for me.

I think sizing down one size in this coat is good. I'm an inch or two shorter than enders (6' without shoes) and an M also fit me quite well in this. I'm usually an L in BBS.

i'm glad i waited to kop this particular iteration of the jacket until u posted this. if it is indeed super small and the outpockets jut out due to the stiffness then it will likely be an unflattering fit. one needs a serious v-shape like theaddict to make it really work. i mean it would be wearable, but not worthy of the pricetag for most guys. the older version is better....

i'm going to pass and wait til next fall season when i think a new version will be released.

all things being equal, i'd personally go for the dress - i prefer to give less function-oriented gifts, since most people manage to take care of that themselves and more rarely treat themselves to something a bit extravagant or merely beautiful. hence it seems to be appreciated when given as a gift.

also, even if i like branquinho on women, i think the dress itself is gorgeous.

of course, if she's freezing at the moment and really needs a coat of that type, then that would be the better choice.

If this is based solely on impact, I love that dress.

I find the jacket to be more of a wise choice for more overall wear, but it doesnt stand out to me in anywhere near the same way as that dress does
