Not sure is all the bag to be like this or may be different season/ model probelm, some fading like at the conner and the back side which I think is due to friction with my clothes.

Concerning CCP dipped sneakers.
I have a pair off white GROIL sneakers and would like some opinion from owners or people who have handled the COIL (cordovan) version.
Like the texture on the kangaroo but miss the stiffness of the horse and they get softer with each wear.
Opinions (fast) please!

(my experience with kangaroo is that they always is super soft, and only gets more buttery soft with wear. have a pair of Guidis in kangaroo)

Sorry but I never really understood the going crazy for the augustas, will keep my CCPs.
Question is will the next pair be GROIL or COIL?
Texture vs. stiffness it is.
The leather on these cordovans looks so unfuckable but could be a little more textured for my liking.

imho, the coils tend to look "smoother", but there's quite a bit of variation.

it's a tough choice, since the groil and coil have their own strengths.

get 'em both!!

I know, very tough. Already have a pair in GROIL so the second pair might be COIL and in black this time.
Do you actually own a pair in COIL?

Torn by these...fairly inexpensive, insulated with inner foot sock. Probably good for wet winter. Any opinions?

beardown - was thinking exactly the same thing - need a pair of boots with a proper winter (rubber grip) sole......was considering these Marsell as they seem a more rugged winter boot......opinions?

i handled current season Marsell boots and surprised of the construction and toe shape. low boots are really nice.

they look nice enough, but i just don't think the way the upper is sewn to the sole looks like a good idea for wet weather, especially with such a relatively thin sole. and even the leather looks a bit like it would soak up moisture pretty fast. they wouldn't be my go-to footwear for wet winter conditions.

The overall verdict of the inquisition seems to be a no...
Bit I still like it. The fabric is thick, stiff and soft at the same time. Feels good on the skin. Fit is tight and I love the look. Would have copped if I wouldn't care about money...that's just my two cents;)

This is an amazing jacket -- I'm trying to understand the "no" reaction to it...Go with your instincts addict. You have fabulous style.
