      repair options

      RO Aviator Parka

option 1: Get a tailor to sew up the holes...
option 2: Cut a pair or old detriots ( same color) and replace the whole patch of fabric

option 3: Throw the jacket in the bin...

      ??????

Option 4; Send it to me!!

Personally I would repair, but not with patches.

Check with your tailor anyway, but with such a dark color, I'd go with option1/mending, maybe combined with some kind of alternative option 2 since I do no think you really have to destroy a pair of old detroits jus for that
(my tailor repaired some denim pants I have by reinforcing them inside the crotch area, the pair went from "close to unwearable" to "almost new")

will try to have it fixed -

I have a pair or RO detroits from way back - when they were straight leg and with those incredibly small backpockets...better off using these for the repair, than having them take up space...the idea would be to replace the entire inner arm....

Definitely not option 3. It doesn't even look that bad. I'm sure if you repair it nicely it'll add good character to the piece. Much similar to repaired jeans. Don't know if wasting a pair of detroits on repairs is a good choice, but if you don't want them anyways - whatever.

I got these, but WITH the rusty staples?

These sneaks may be the only thing I own that I'm conscious of when wearing. Always scared of the heel just give out.

Dunno, I hated them at first but now I love them. Part of the shoes' character... Also, the bball sneakers look awful now, compared to the 2006-2008 versions.

Agreed. Although the sole is 'supposedly' improved...it feels so much less substantial than the past seasons.

But yeah...still prefer to NOT have the staples in my shoes to hold the heel together...

Guys, I need your honest opinion on this because since I've set my eyes on it I'm finding it hard to be objective

I know it might not be in line with the SZ style though..

I'd say it's objectively hard to look at, let alone hard to picture oneself wearing it.

Agreed, it's truly terrible...and that's ignoring the ridiculous price tag.

In my opinion, it's really unatractive honestly. Futhermore, the price is very high and may be you can get another garment with.

(last post had error) ok back again. um so i have the chance to purchase this sweater for about 75 dollars, which is in my mind an absolute steal for classic raf. the only problem is i somewhat get a bill cosby vibe from the sweater.i think the details of it are really great but what do you all think about the overall look/ the chance for me to own raf for such a low price (sorry for the super huge picture)
                            what is black?

Agreed man. It's gonna be hard to pull off at the best of times. Regardless of whether it's RAF or not.
