Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
Thanks for the support to all except iPnod!... But contrary to what Faust was saying, I really do think that it IS a signature and iconic piece... I think Cas made a very good point in that they do go on sale at the end of each season... I just hope that my size can last till then... The verdict is that I'll stay benched for this quarter... hopefully...
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
Good thinking up. I guarantee you can make a t-shirt just like that as well for much much less....or, commission someone to do it.
BTW Joey, what's the difference between the two spiral rings? I have to admit that it would look kind of odd having TWO rings spiraling next to each other. Save your money, $330 can get a plethora of other nice items that you don't have.
"because the young are whores. dealers come to carol to get the rock"
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
that spiral ring looks like you cut the top off of a bottle that has a twist on cap.
EDIT:
MA+ t shirts with the red cross in the middle has a fit that is pretty
similar to a Hanes beefy tee, with none of the requisite beefyness.
Just get a hanes tee and cut it up and put it back together again.
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
This isn't an RSG comment, but every time I see those gloves I think of rabbits. I have no idea why.
Hobo: We all dress up. We all put on our armour before we walk out the door, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we’re trying to be someone else.
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
The Frankenstein gloves are interesting BUT the fur reminds me too much of UGG boots... Who has experience with the sizing of these? I remember trying on the full fingered version of the gloves I posted in a Size 48 in Barneys Shinjuku and they were much too small... Is it me of do these gloves fit really small? I also remember the infused object dye smell on my hands for the rest of the day...
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
very true. i tried on the full fingered version as well, and they smell like....sth im not gon comment on here at this moment.size 50 fit me fine andI have relatively big hands (8.7''-8.8'' long).
I kinda hate guysat barneys shinjuku. When i had a hard time finding lift the SA at barneys told me she didnt know there was such a store........
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
Barney's Shinjuku feels kinda sad...i dunno every time i am in there it feels like a store that's on the verge of closing down any minute yet every season i go back it's still there.
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
I have to agree with your assessment... It seems like some sort of abandoned building in the middle of the busiest Tokyo hub... and yeah with racks full of great stock... They didn't seem to discount previous seasons when I was there...
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
they did put old stuff on sale when i was there at the beginning of this year...but i was surprised theyhad the sale stuff very wellmixed with new arrivals...
Re: Recession Support Group (no enablers allowed!)
yeah man always this old ass stuff just lying around at Barney's Shinjuku...there was a pair of object dyed cordovan CCP oxfords from S/S 07, according to the paper booklet, but i thought that season didn't exist? Small ass size though...and last time i was there i even saw a pair of C Diem laceups, but again for tiny feet.
